DARK MEDIUM GEL is a liquid gel designed for strengthening natural nails, correcting shape, and repairing nails.
Description
- Has a consistency similar to rubber base and self-levels quickly;
- Not too runny, making it suitable for working with medium-length nails;
- Ideal for strengthening short and medium-length nails;
- Cures completely;
- Acid-free;
- Medium hardness.
Application Method
1. Perform manicure, buff and degrease the nail, apply Ultrabond and DARK Dehydrator;
2. Apply a thin layer of clear SCOTCH BASE as a substrate with rubbing movements, cure for 60 seconds;
3. Remove the sticky layer from Dark Scotch base before applying the gel;
4. Strengthen the nail with MEDIUM GEL DARK. Polymerization time 60-90 seconds at 48W (depending on the color’s pigmentation);
- Mix gels with glitter before use;
- Always use original DARK lamps with all DARK materials;
- After curing, a viscous sticky layer may remain; it is recommended to remove it before applying color or top coat;
- Do not apply gel under the cuticle.
5. Remove the sticky layer and file if needed;
6. Apply top coat and cure for 90 seconds.
Important Notes
If performing nail strengthening, file at least 1 mm of your natural nail from the underside to prevent lifting at the free edge. If the nail length is minimal, it is recommended to seal the free edge from underneath with top coat.
MEDIUM GEL is a medium-hardness gel, so for long nails, we recommend using Dark Smart gel (a harder gel) to prevent product shrinkage.
All DARK hard materials are acid-free.
