DARK SMART GEL is a medium viscosity gel designed for strengthening, extension, and repair of nails.
Description
- Suitable for both long and short nails;
- Withstands high temperatures, allowing for proper pinching of the gel;
- It is recommended to cure at low power and to take the hand out if a burning sensation occurs;
- Strong, yet not brittle.
How is SMART GEL different from other Builder gels?
- Slightly thinner consistency, but the gel is firm;
- No sticky dispersion layer;
- No need to remove the sticky layer from the base when working with SCOTCH BASE DARK;
- No need to remove the sticky layer before applying top coat;
- Minimal risk of lifting.
Application method
- Perform manicure, buff and degrease the nail, apply Ultrabond and Dehydrator.
- Apply a thin layer of transparent SCOTCH BASE using rubbing motions, cure for 60 seconds.
- Strengthen or extend using DARK SMART GEL. Curing time is 60-90 seconds at 48W (depends on pigment).
- It is recommended to use original lamps with all DARK materials.
- If necessary, remove the sticky layer and file into shape.
- Apply top coat, cure for 90 seconds.
Working nuances
- Easily cures with dual forms;
- Pinch the gel at 12-15 seconds;
- Possible intermediate curing from 15 seconds;
- Do not apply gel deep under the cuticle - ensure a smooth transition with minimal thickness;
- When strengthening nails, be sure to file your own nail by 1 mm from the inside to prevent lifting;
- When using bases from other brands, it is recommended to remove the sticky layer from the base;
- The more transparent the gel, the harder it is;
- If the gel has thickened due to low temperature, you can warm the required amount separately on a palette;
- Gels with glitter should be mixed before use.
All DARK hard gels are acid-free.
European and Ukrainian quality certificates, the product is registered in the CPNP system, and no DARK product is tested on animals.
