What Makes Fiber FIX Gel Different?

Unlike traditional acrygel, DNKa' Fiber FIX Gel contains a high concentration of reinforcing fibres and has a dense, non-porous structure. According to the manufacturer, it provides greater strength than acrygel when applied at the same thickness, making it particularly useful for delicate repairs where adding extra volume is not desirable.

How to Apply

1. Prepare the natural nail using your usual professional technique. File as required and cleanse with DNKa' Nail Prep & Cleanser 3-in-1.
2. Apply DNKa' Dehydrator to the entire nail plate and allow to air dry for 30–60 seconds.
3. Apply DNKa' Ultrabond and allow to air dry for 30–60 seconds. When repairing a crack in the nail bed area, avoid applying Ultrabond directly into the crack.
4. Apply a thin priming layer of the appropriate DNKa' base:
   • Under a gel system: DNKa' Multi Base or Fiber Base.
   • Under gel polish or coloured bases: DNKa' Rubber Base or Low Acid Base.
   Cure in a 36/48W LED/UV lamp for 30–60 seconds, according to the selected base.
5. Apply a small amount of DNKa' Fiber FIX Gel directly to the area requiring repair. This product is designed for localised application rather than coating the entire nail plate.
6. Cure in a 36/48W LED/UV lamp for 60–90 seconds, following the manufacturer's recommended time for your lamp.
7. If filing is required, remove the inhibition layer using DNKa' Nail Prep & Cleanser 3-in-1 and refine the repaired area.
8. Continue with your chosen DNKa' product for levelling, strengthening or sculpting, following its individual application and curing instructions.

Curing Times

• DNKa' Base Coat: 30–60 seconds in a 36/48W LED/UV lamp, depending on the selected base.
• DNKa' Fiber FIX Gel: 60–90 seconds in a 36/48W LED/UV lamp.

Professional Tip

Use Fiber FIX Gel only where additional strength is needed, such as a cracked corner or weakened free edge. A small amount is sufficient to create targeted reinforcement while keeping the finished enhancement slim and balanced.

Do not apply over open wounds, exposed nail beds or damaged skin. Assess the nail before treatment and only proceed when it is suitable for a cosmetic nail repair.
