LUNAmoon Lurex Base is a camouflage cover base with a refined reflective effect, created for professionals who want structure, elegance, and a subtle statement in one product. In normal lighting it appears soft and sophisticated, while under flash or direct light it reveals a magical shimmer thanks to finely dispersed lurex particles within the formula.

This is a soak-off cover base, offering the perfect balance between durability, elasticity, and controlled application. Ideal for elegant everyday sets, bridal looks, festive designs, or clients who love discreet sparkle with a premium finish.

Curing Requirements

• UV/LED lamp: 36–48 W (original lamp required)
• Cure time:
  • Rubber Base underlay: 60 seconds
  • Lurex Base leveling layer: 90 seconds
  • Top coat: 120 seconds

Application Method (Professional Use)

1. Remove previous material.
2. Do not fully shape the nail; leave approx. 2 mm length to refine after leveling.
3. Gently buff the nail surface with a 220 grit file or 100 grit buffer.
4. Perform manicure.
5. If removers are used, wash hands with soap and water.
6. Degrease thoroughly using LUNAmoon Nail Prep (two-step method, including cuticle and nail folds).
7. Primer is optional.
8. Apply a thin underlay of LUNAmoon Rubber Base, rubbing it in with a flat gel brush. Cure for 60 seconds.
9. Remove the sticky layer.
10. Apply Lurex Base for leveling and cure for 90 seconds.
11. Lightly dust the form to build strength at the free edge.
12. If needed, refine by filing approx. 1 mm from the centre of the nail.
13. Remove stickiness, apply gel polish or a thin camouflage layer if desired.
14. Finish with top coat and cure for 120 seconds. Do not wipe after curing to preserve maximum shine.
